Adult Blog Base

Easy website creation for adult performers / escorts / pro dominas etc

Many pages in this tutorial are specific for creating a blog to promote affiliate programs. However, it’s also very good possible to create your website instead of a blog using the AdultBlogBase.com. By default, when you enter a site on AdultBlogBase.com you will be sent to the page with the most recent blogposts. However it’s possible to change this in the backend and make a certain static page the default page your visitor will land, when he enters the sitename in his browser.

In this step-by-step tutorial we’ll teach you how to set up the base structure for a promotional site for an adult performer, escort or pro-domina, or any other adult service provider. (You even could set up a company website here).

First we have to create the pages, so after registration of our new blog and logging in to the backend we go to the ‘pages’ menu. Again we’ll show you some shots of our tutorial blog.

By default there is one page defined : The about page.

By default there is already one page defined : The about page. When we hoover with our mouse on the row where we see the info, the word ‘edit’ appears. When we click it we’ll get the WordPress visual editor. We delete all the text in this editor and change it with some text about the site owner. In our example we use the imaginary pornstar ‘Samantha Suckalot’. First we change the title ‘About’ in ‘About Samantha Suckalot’. Then we change the text itself. After pushing the ‘Update’ button we check the result. Please note we didn’t change a theme yet, so you won’t see the colors in the sample, but a white/blue based layout. We’ll change it later in the tutorial.

Next we’re going to create some new pages. Before you do that, first carefully plan what you want. On which subjects would you like to tell something about yourself. A pornstar for example might think of :

  • About Me
  • Movies I played in
  • Sites I posed for
  • Personal data
  • Contact/Booking
  • Guestbook
  • FAQ me.

An escort might think of

  • About Me
  • Services
  • Travelling
  • Rates
  • Pictures
  • Booking

For a pro domina the page could be much the same as for an escort, but maybe a domina would like to tell a bit more on ‘sub pages’ under the services about the services the offers.

When we have the planning for the pages, we create them. We simply click ‘Add New’ in the pages menu and type the title in the topbar and type -for the moment- a placeholder for the text : ‘Here is going to be my webpage soon’ in the pagecontent itself. Or we can just copy and paste some longer text, just to make it look better when we set the theme.

When we have finished the pages, we define our ‘main’ page, for example our about page, as homepage. For this we go to the ‘Settings’ menu and there we click ‘Reading’.  Below you’ll see the fragment of the page we’re interested in. You’ll find it on top of the page :

Set a static homepage

Here we click ‘A static page (select below) and at the ‘Front Page’ dropdown, we choose the page we want to see as first, in our sample, the ‘About’ page.

When we look at the site now, by typing the domainname only (something like ‘samantasuckalot.adultblogbase.com’), you should by default land on the about page. Great isn’t it ? But now as a next step we have to set our theme. We go to the menu ‘Appearance’ and click themes. Here we can simply preview the available themes and if we like it, by clicking ‘Activate’ our theme is activated .

The only thing we still have to do is to set up the widgets and plugins. More info you’ll find here.

So in this short tutorial you learned how to create a structure for a complete professional adult presentationwebsite in less then 15 minutes. Now it’s time to fill the pages we created with real informative content. You can use the blog function too, because it’s a great way to keep your admirers updates. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here as a comment or pass them via the FAQForm.
